smart meter display showing unusual very high usage

Evening all
Our smart meter in-home-display is currently reading at £6300 for the day - our usual usage for the day is around a tenner... we've not done anything out of the ordinary, and nothing has been left switched on whilst we've been at work.
Our energy provision has just switched to ovo when they bought out SSE 
Clearly something is amiss. Has the IHD simply gone wonky, or should I be worried that I've got a massive bill coming my way?

My ihd showed 1,000 times consumption for a short period recently, it corrected itself. Dont worry what the IHD says, it's the meter that counts. Relax and breath!

No, Scottish power, but I think it is a relatively common problem with IHD's (showing watts as kw's)
