    Probate puts the will into the public domain so not that difficult for the insolvency practice  to find out. As Boris Becker found out hiding your assets from the official receiver is a criminal offence and can land you with jail time. In his case it was bankruptcy but the same applies for an IVA. In the case of a bankrupt beneficiary paying an inheritance them can land the executor in deep dodo as it must be given to the OR.

    It would have to be disclosed. Boris Becker has just been released from jail after completing his sentence for trying to hide assets from his liquidator.
