I've been trying to get 170g tins from Morrisons, Tesco & Sainsbury's (in West Yorkshire) for the last 3 weeks, but they only have the Carnation brand in this size (double the price). The supermarkets have the larger size, but this isn't useful for a single person household.0

e.g. in Sainsbury's, 170g is 49p and 410g is 55p. A tiny difference in price for more than double the amount.
Waitrose still has the 170g tins for 60p (if you are within striking distance of Meanwood or Otley).0 -

Open the tin, decant half into a clean container, pop it in the freezer? I've done this before with similar products where I wouldn't use it in a reasonable time once open.0 -
