Phillipson Hardwick Advisory

Hi, First time user, long time follower,
Now you can call me lazy or stupid but when you have very little time on your hands I'll take easy over complicated.
Long story short, I signed up to this company to reclaim (What I thought to be a) PPI tax refund but found out it was just an income tax refund from HMRC.
So I received an email to advise my cheque had arrive, I think it was around October, and I received documentation from HMRC to advise of the amount due.
So far today I have received nothing, I have called several times, I have been promised a bank transfer, still nothing, they ignore your emails, I'm just at my wits end. I just want to know who I should contact in order to police this company?? Is it the FCA or the Law Society? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Make a formal complaint to them and if necessary take it to the Legal Ombudsman. They will take forever but at least might kick them into shape and resolve it.
  • And check with HMRC which tax years the deed for Phillipson Hardwick covers so you know which tax years you won't be getting any refunds for without them going via Phillipsons.

Neither I suspect as its an area that is not regulated.  Trading standards may take an interest if you are alleging wrongdoing.

To be fair, they dont hide that in their T&C.
