My insurers have rejected my claim because I no longer own the property.
The claim predates the exchange of contract.
What recourse is available?

More detail required
Ultimately a complaint is the recourse but depending on whats happened etc the insurers may well be correct.0 -
The claim is a subsidence claim. Their assessors have verified it. The house is no longer mine but I made the claim while I was the insured owner.0

Insurance Ombudsman if a complaint doesn't work but you will need to go through the complaints procedure first0

So did you know there was subsidence when you sold the property?ColmP said:The claim is a subsidence claim. Their assessors have verified it. The house is no longer mine but I made the claim while I was the insured owner.
Was this noted on the particulars of the sale?
How long ago did you complete?
Why has this claim just been logged now?
If you were unaware of subsidence at the point of sale and its only come to light after then you've not sustained any loss and so would have nothing to claim.0
