Vanquis card - hassling phone calls

Vanquis phoned a few times for my husband on Monday. He's working away from home this week, so I mentioned it when I spoke to him on Monday night and he realised he forgot to pay his credit card bill. This is the first time he has done this and it is a genuine mistake. He told me to pay them through our current account for him, as internet access and phone calls are very expensive in the hotel he is staying in, and the daft thing forgot his mobile charger so his battery is dead. The payment left our account yesterday and will hopefully be with them soon.
Vanquis are now ringing our home on an hourly basis. I keep telling them he is not home till Friday and asking if they can stop ringing me, but they don't listen and keep ringing back. Yesterday the calls started around 8am and went on till 8.30pm. Today the first call was at 8.10am and I've had 11 calls so far.
How do I get them to stop ringing here? I keep saying the money is on it's way, but they say they cannot take that information from me.

If im correct the max amount of times they can call per day before it is classed as harrasment is 6 just mention that to them and tell them to go :money:0

When they call did you mention the payment that you made?0

Yes - I've told them the money is on it's way, but they just say they cannot speak to me about it as I am not the account holder.0

In that case tell them the account holder is away and you cannot speak to them, so goodbye and put the phone down. Don't give them a chance to speak, log the dates and times of the call, and get hubby to formally write a letter claiming harrassment, giving all details and threaten them with whoever you report them to for harrassment... Which I am sure another poster will know.0
