Lowest prices for Sat Nav all top names

I have been checking sat nav prices for a couple of weeks now. This is the best site

It has top names, and prices change daily

It also has coupons for Dixons, Halfords etc

I am waiting until post xmas for further drops, hoping for a TomTom 520
Hope you find it useful

  • Sorry to dissapoint your well honed nose Paul, I am just a once bitten twice shy buyer of overpriced underperforming sat navs.

So I have spent a lot of time researching my next and hopefully last purchase.
I thought others would be interested, did not expect to be slagged off for my very first post

Nice to know what a welcoming guy you are

I'd say the vast majority of people who join this forum get involved in posts, and conversations, and ask for advice?

Its a bit odd, would you not agree, for someone to join and then do nothing else in their first three posts (actually four now) but promote one particular site? Particularly one that noone else has heard of or promoted?

If it looks like spam, and it smells of spam, then....

Not really - I browsed the forum and read posts for a long time before I joined and started chipping in.

And its only polite not to repeat post - so any new site will be exactly that - new and never heard of !!

Maybe Bertie is actually trying to help someone ??

    of course its spam.
but on the other hand, i found the above named satnav site, the other week on google, and found it fairly useful.
as always when comparing prices etc. do some research and dont ever rely on one site.
i like dealtime co uk, but im fully aware that it does not give you the full picture.
    Get some gorm.
  • To those of you who accept that my motives are purely informative, many thanks.
To the rest of you, I can only tell you that I have spent weeks looking for the best buy for myself since my Garmin i3 died about 2 days after the warrenty ran out.
I did not know that it was not good form to offer information on what I thought was a helpful site. I have been surfing this MSE site for ages and found a lot of useful tips and thought it would be a good way to join in.

I did not know I had to add background to justify my motives.

Trust me I won't bother again.

Happy Christmas, I hope you all get whatever you really deserve from Santa

Finding it hard to accept you taking a moral high ground on this one Bertie, several things spring to mind...

    (a) why are you recommending a site to everyone that only deals with tom-tom units?

    (b) conveniently you knock the opposition to tom-tom units by saying how you garmin died two days outside its warranty? I'm sure there are lots of money savers no here who could advise on how to get your own repaired by Garmin as its just a day or two out of warranty - hence you wont need a new unit. ;)

    (c) you dont seem at all open minded to the fact there are better sites out there as suggested above, particularly given yours, sorry, the one you recommended doesnt auto update, by not checking the big price checking players it could actually cost you more money than necessary.

    (d) If you had no vested interest in the site you're promoting, you'd be saying hey, thanks for the tips guys, not being so defensive.
