Nobody can possibly answer that question, it can take up to a couple of weeks.
Ok thankyou for that, hopefully soon though as it says on their website within 14 days but I urgently need it

If you have a banking app you should be able to see incoming payments. Most banks offer this.
That's how I know mine is coming tomorrow.

Lloyds and Natwest do not do this even with the app.

    That surprises me.
HSBC are hardly a market leader when it comes to banking apps, strange they should offer it when others don't.
    I stand corrected.

I'm not a banking expert, but seems strange to me that a bank, having become aware of an incoming payment, is prepared to let the customer know about it but not credit their account straight away. Perhaps other banks donlt offer this as a 'feature' because they simply credit the account immediately they receive details of the payment ?

Same with Barclays. I am with Barclays and it doesn't have this feature where you can see upcoming payments being credited to your bank account, which is a shame.

I'm not an expert, but I believe it's related to the type of payment method being used. A payment by BACS transfer takes 2-3 days to clear, so the bank will know in advance and can notify the customer of the pending payment even though it has not cleared yet. Other payments may be made by "same day" payment whereby they often clear instantly (or within 2h max) so there is no advance notification - it shows up immediately the payment is made. A same day payment method is more expensive than a 3 day BACS payment, so if an organisation like DWP have to make millions of automated payments, and they know the due date, it makes sense for them to be BACS payments at a lower cost.

It will be paid by BACS so it will be 3-5 working days from when payment was made. Just looked at my daughters journal and she had 2 messages 2 days ago, one saying a payment was from 6th to 12th and another with a payment from 13th to 19th. No payments received yet.
