CPS Midlands - Letter Before Claim

I received a parking fine from CPS Midlands back in Oct 2017 (in England), I had purchased the correct pay and display ticket, but the warden couldn't see the ticket on display. I appealed the fine sending them a picture of the pay and display ticket I'd purchased. They replied saying that as it was not displayed properly the ticket still stood.

I read a lot of these posts at the time and decided to ignore their letters, I received a few letters back then and then years went by without hearing anything. Now 5 years later I've received a few letters in a matter of weeks from CPS and various debt collectors and I have just received a 'Letter before claim'. I'm unsure what to do now as some threads seem to say they're now likely to take this to court and others asking whether it is a real letter before claim, but I'm unsure how I would know whether it is a genuine LBC or not... Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Can I ask how you know it's not? and if you know what usually happens after this?

I know because Ive been in the *parking industry* for over 10 years
People pick up on trends, changes to industry and tactical changes.
And nothing will happen

If from CST Law, you've seen the CST Law Group thread covering this and showing pics of that letter?

If from DCB, you've seen the DCB letters group thread?

Its from CIS/TNC written on CPS midlands headed paper
So its meant to look like its from CPS.
With an 0141 number on it to call

 Because he's seen it all before!  We do know the letter chain patterns with certain parking companies.
