Hi
We had two instances when because of an power outage the saniflo stopped working and it overflowed. It caused damage to flat below.
While we will avoid showering during that time using toilets could be a problems.
I was wondering if there is any option like a battery back up which would cover for 4-5 flushes.
It is Saniflo Aceess 3.Motor power400WSupply voltage 220-240V/50Hz
Many thanks

A basic UPS could cover this, just check it can supply 400w.0

They are usually hard wired into the mains? So, it requires a fair bit more than just unplugging it and plugging into a backup supply.
Although the motor is rated at 400w, it probably draws much more at startup.
I would think about a decent size leisure battery with at least a 1000w inverter as the reserve power source. Then replace the hard wired arrangement with a plug and socket, so you can unplug the saniflo from the socket and plug it into the inverter. You can’t have that in a bathroom of course, but possibly in a cupboard or nearby room.
Or simply don’t flush during a power outage. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
