Got BT's Home Essentials and went for the 67Mb package, simply because it was giving me more speed at a reduced price.
When the gear arrived I was surprised at how antiquated the handset looked. The phone itself felt cumbersome, and to enter names you had to go through the old system '3 short taps' if you wanted to get to 'c'. I can see some of our younger readers looking at grand ma/dad and wondering where on earth that phone came from 🤔
Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining from my point of view I've got a good deal: increase in speed, cheaper price and free phone to UK if I want. But oh the design 😢
