April King - new charges

Before the MSE article appeared I had already objected to the storage charge on the basis that it had never been part of the deal. I offered to collect mine (apparently not possible?) or even pay a reasonable postage cost, but they refused the offer. There is currently an impasse - they have said they will only deal with my "legal representative" despite me wishing to "represent" myself. Unfortunately, the people at the end of the emails are unprofessional & stubborn. Has anyone made any headway with this outfit? I'm not sure what leverage I have other than through the likes of Trustpilot & other forums.

Having complained to their CEO I got a several page reply of legalise trying to justify the unjustifiable, and he didn't do me the curtesy of a direct reply.
I'm currently consulting a different solicitor, though Christmas has now intervened.0 -
Why are you engaging a solicitor in the complaint? AK have failed to resolve your complaint the next step should be the legal ombudsman which will be free for you but costly for them.Smiling_john said:Having complained to their CEO I got a several page reply of legalise trying to justify the unjustifiable, and he didn't do me the curtesy of a direct reply.
