ADT discount

I have just received notice that ADT want to put up my monthly fee from £31.47 to £36.66 (or £377.64 to £439.92 p.a.). 

I called to say I wasn’t happy with that and that another firm is offering a similar service at £26 a month (£312 p.a.) and was happy to cancel my contract. 

Got put through to customer retentions and they matched the even lower price not just last years price. 

Very chuffed with my self. A saving of around £130 for the price of a local rate phone call.
