New fridge freezer noise

Options
Have today had delivered a new freestanding fridge freezer. Left it to stand for 4 hours then plugged it in, but ever since it's been making this small 'buzzing' noise, which seems to come from the back. It's not the usual humming you hear when the condenser is on, but a very irritating buzzing noise which I can hear from every room. almost like someone has a washing machine on somewhere. I've tried making it more level but still happening. Any ideas?

Possible bit of debris/packing material caught somewhere in a fan or some such??  (I'm clutching at random straws here)

Yes I’ve come across that issue before.
maybe try turning it off for a while then turning back on.

I had the same with an Indesit fridge, got the manufacturer’s engineer out and they just said ‘they all do that sir’. Gave up and it’s still noisy. Should have insisted on a replacement as it’s not right.

    Noted Grumbler.
Ah no longer available :/Nice though, just what I want.

I bought a new one as an emergency (mine decided to go 'bang' in the night and wasn't worth risking) so took the cheapest because I want to replace with fridge freezer.
Darn thing is noisy on occasions and sometimes there's a flipping noise in the loft as it turns off. So I'm hoping the F rating is as pointless as the sales lady said.

But on the plus side after a few months it settled down to quiet. It also began freezing up etc though now it's full it seems to be running ok. But it did take 6 mts - that long.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

It's also making a noise as though water is rushing and crackling, whenever the condenser is running. Is this normal???

Are you not meant to leave them 24 hours to settle after transport?

Does it have an ice maker?
