Last time they came knocking (banging) on my door, he got a bloodied nose for his efforts - Door opens outwards, and he was standing way too close

Still got the standard response to any cold caller - "[redacted] off"

The rules are simple

TV licence agents are simply salespeople there to sell a tv licence...that is it !
They have ZERO power to enter your property
You do not have to speak to them or tell them ANYTHING
They have about as much power as the paperboy or milkman
Ignore them and any letters

the people that are the TVL goons are the baliff/bouncer thug types delibrately and they will lie just to get in the door

and try and brow beat you into signing up 

and they of course they prey on women mostly who are too scared to just tell them to get stuffed and close the door

you just have remember they have zero powers and are mearly salesman for a private company capita

with a databse of all the adresses with no TVL

if you want to be polite fine 

but best is to just say get off my land before i kick you off
