Help please - HX CAR PARK MANAGEMENT

Hi all,
I’ve received a PCN for the above for a car park in Halifax (curry’s).
I’ve received a PCN for the above for a car park in Halifax (curry’s).
I’ve not used the car park before and went for a click and collect order with our twin 2 year olds.
The were two parent and child spots and people without kids were parked in them (i witnessed people returning to the car).
In order to get our double buggy and twins out I parked over the line to give space for the pram. I’m kicking myself now as I wouldn’t normally do it. It was purely to get them out safely and to have enough space for the pram.
When entering curry’s I saw the people come out with no kids and leave before another person did the same.
I literally went in the store for 5 mins and then left.
I then received a £100 fine a few days later.
I’ve appealed on the above reasons and with the guidance on here and today my appeal has been refused. They didn’t even acknowledge the people parking in bays they shouldn’t even or the safety of getting the twins out of the car. It simply mentioned the signs, which I didn’t see in the first place.
I’m tempted to complain to them and follow the independent appeals, but thought I’d get some advice on here to see if anyone has had a similar issue.
The last para below is concerning or is just say I’m not paying it.
Thanks all

What did Currys have to say when you asked them to get rid of this ticket?2

Hi I wasn’t sure that was an option. Is it worth giving them a call?KeithP said:What did Currys have to say when you asked them to get rid of this ticket? It looked like it’s privately owned although Curry’s is on there.Thanks0 -
You need to explain to Currys - speak to the manager face to face - that if you are expected to pay £100 just to visit his/her shop you'll not be shopping there again and neither will your friends and family once they hear about this. Take a copy of your PCN with you and leave it with him to resolve the issue.

Hi Keith have you done similar? I just thought with it technically being privately owned they’d just fob it off. It is a joke though considering there was no other suitable parking for me at the time.KeithP said:You need to explain to Currys - speak to the manager face to face - that if you are expected to pay £100 just to visit his/her shop you'll not be shopping there again and neither will your friends and family once they hear about this. Yes I have. Before I became involved with this forum I went with friends to a local hotel for a meal. Didn't even think about registering my car at reception. Some days later I received a PCN from ParkingEye. Took it straight to hotel reception, proved I was a customer and the matter was cancelled there and then.Lewigreg081281 said:

It is the first action suggested in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread...

Thanks. I was going to do that, but my wife said with it being privately owned they’d prob not do anything.KeithP said:

But I provide a link in the NEWBIES thread to a thread called SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCS. It is several years worth of accounts of retailers cancelling private PCNs when shoppers complain.Lewigreg081281 said:

Obviously, every single one is private land.. almost every supermarket or retail park is private land. Privately owned land is what every thread here is about. This is what the NEWBIES thread is for - because you can't win v an IPC firm on appeal!
Have you missed reading there too, why NOT TO TRY IAS?! Don't go putting in an IAS appeal.
By the way, parent and child bays are just a retail gimmick and mean nothing. I say that as a mum who had 4 kids within 7 years and wasn't fussed about looking for 'special bays' which are not a right. They are not an important bay like a disabled bay is. Anyone can use them (I don't, by the way). Just explaining that they are just a gimmick bay with no legal meaning and no reason why shoppers can't use them - especially disabled people (who certainly should do, if the accessible bays are full).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
