No change really with little one - she was put on a continuous milk feed for most of yesterday and through the night, to stop her blood sugar going too low. DD sent a photo of her lunch and there was just a tiny hole made in a slice of bread - that was all she'd eaten It was a nice tray of food with things on she'd usually like but she didn't want any of it. Poor DD said the soup smelled nice but she can't eat it as the nurses have to see how much little one has had. I've sent DD some money as the prices in the canteen are ridiculous.bellabella said:Is anyone else having a problem with the site i keep being logged out despite ticking the stay logged in box ?Not so far.The surgery receptionist rang about half an hour ago to cancel my appointment as the nurse was off sick. It's rearranged for tomorrow just before my audiology appointment. I was very tempted to go back under the duvet but I'd pulled it over to air so it wasn't warm anymore. So, I'm up and dressed, well it's more like swaddled.

Morning
Bitterly cold here. Snow still hanging around but I think it is mostly ice now. Its put me back into lockdown really as falls are my worst fear like some others here. My bin runs are on hold for now. Was going to go and see mum this morning but I may rethink that till the roads clear.
Very lazy day yesterday Watched Miracle on 34th St which was as lovely as ever.
Had a very hot shower this morning. It woke my circulation up a bit really didn't want to get out. Todays plans are keeping warm and not venturing on any ice.
DP1 so sorry little one is still struggling at least she's in the best place.
TA .....move away from the steps its not worth it.
Ruby Fingers crossed for some snow for you
Scarlett take care if you decide to venture out
Food wise I have some meat balls so may have those with mash and gravy
Have a good day all and stay upright!

Hi everyone,
We're all still here and all fine, I'm just so busy I hardly get to start a post let alone finish one.
We have several inches of snow so Esben will be going out on his sledge today, not that there are really any hills round here without trees on them. I'm sure we will have a snowman on the lawn by the end of the day. At the moment he's sittin on the TV table singing along to the songs from The Greatest Showman. Yesterday he was pulling at a ribbon I have suspended on the door to peg cards to, it has an ornament on the bottom to weight it down, Brian was holding on to the ribbon to stop it coming off but Eben pulled a piece off the ornament at the bottom - he looked at Brian and said "You left me no choice daddy". I don't know where that came from.
We had duck last night for the roast (a frozen one from Lidl), I was getting a bit sick of chicken or pork, Laura is not fond of lamb and we tend to save beef for special occasions. The duck was delicious, i used a Tom Kerridge recipe and cooked the legs separately which worked very well.
dp1, I hope little one recovers quickly, Esben goes off his food when he has an infection
TA, do you have a handrail on the steps?
Enjoy the bowling, Ruby.
Mehefin, I hope you are feeling better now,10 -
Morning..Just blummin cold today with some frozen patchy snow left around the place. My plan for today is work out how best to attach the webbing to the carpet offcut so it looks neat so there'l be some youtubing later on. I did a big fat nothing yesterday, feeling itchy to do stuff today, so just a bit of general organising/tidying, you know the kind of thing. And a chateau catch up is on the cards. No idea about food, better get something out of the freezer. I have some stuff to go on Freecycle, stuff to go to the CS, the bedding to go through because we don't have a double bed anymore so that stuff has to be kept separate, vacuum packed and put away and I have to actually speak to my sister to sort out visiting days, we normally just speak through whatsapp on a group thing with my cousin who's like another sister anyway.camelot, my sister has a coal delivery this week, her cost has gone up by £150 a ton since she had it last in June...hope yours hasn't!Scarlet, stay upright and safe! TA, same to you..Izzy, hope it goes super quick for you! bella, I get problems when my browser needs updating or the cache emptying. maybe try that, but sometimes, it's just the site...ebay ahsn't been working properly for me for a few days now. dp1, is there anywhere near she can go instead? any organisations that can help? Take care all, it's a bit cold and slippery out there so stya indoors instead

Hello all, we had snow showers on and off all day yesterday but today it's just grey and bitterly cold. I cooked the gammon and it looked lovely but neither of us could eat much of it because we're still not interested in food, so I'll slice it up and put some in the freezer. The lbs must be dropping off us 👍 but I really hope we're back to enjoying food by xmas.
I wrapped most of DGD's presents yesterday while watching Miracle on 34th Street, one of my favourite films. I still have a lot more wrapping to do though, I must have been on a go slow !
Dad has a hospital audiology appointment this afternoon to see what can be done about his broken hearing aid. I was told that they didn't make that sort any more and he may have to have a new one. We'll take him and Mr Fix It will wait in the car while I'll go in as his shouter interpreter 😂
Later I'll put the bins and recycling out although I don't know when they'll be emptied lately, some tomorrow then perhaps some maybe days later, even the ptb don't have a clue and say just leave then out.
dp1 I am wishing for the speedy recovery of little one. Hugs to you all at this stressful time. 🧡
Take care, keep well and warm. Hugs to the poorly ones, the MIA's and anyone in need of one, or two.
