I hadn't lit the fire all day as we were supposed to be going out on a works do for OH but we decided against it and went for a birthday steak. We just got back, the fire is now on, and what a difference it makes! much better than our central heating, I'm finally warm again...The carpet on the floor in front of it is the one I picked up from Freecycle that I'll be edging next week with some denim coloured webbing.

DO you know, I might plan a road trip then next year in the winter!
