London to Leeds Return
Hi guys
I need to urgently book a trip for 2 adults from London to Leeds, departing 19th Dec (around 10am) and returning 20th Dec (arriving in London around 2pm).
I've looked at the National Rail website but find it terribly confusing! It presents me with about 9 different types of rares, all which seem unavailable.
I'd be so gratful if someone could find the lowest fares!

If you're having difficulty with the website it may be a good idea to go to the train station to purchase tickets and ask what the cheapest are. The website will only show a clickable box thing where a ticket is available.0

I'd use https://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com
Fill in your travel deatils, press enter and you'll get a matrix of all available fares
Click on a price range for each leg of the trip, then select a time from the one's displayed
Pick trains that don't have any changes
Select an outward & return trip then click on "buy now" and follow the instructions.
Use the "fasticket" option to collect the tickets at Kings Cross
Currently you are looking at prices of £29.80 per person per journey - ie around £120 return for 2 people
If you decide to go to the station to then do it before 6:00pm tomorrow otherwise you'll pay the full rate for the trip0 -
This is a good route for split ticketing if you have the time to research it. Ticket to Peterborough, then Peterborough to Leeds. Just ensure your trains stop at Peterborough.0
