good luck with your move. My kids are older 15 and 18 but still disappointed we don’t have a tree up yet!!
  • We're exchanging early this week hopefully and completing on our sale on 19th Dec...not completing on the purchase until Jan so technically homeless for Christmas!
Decide what you'd rather, push for that and hope all other parties agree!
    Good luck!

Think we are just going to go with the flow.  Everyone else seems ready for 21st but all hinges on the transfer form arriving with my solicitor - it’s been posted just not yet received

The festive season has many bank Holidays so that might be good with moving if you get bank holiday break. If planned well could work.

Fortunately in my current role I do get bank holidays off so will give lots of time if we move on 21st

Not all soliitors close fo the full period ovre shcristmas but many do, and it only takes one in the chain to be closed to mean that you can't complete until the New Year.

There are also all of the same problems, magnified, that you can have with a Friday completion - if there are any issues, there's a dealy befor ethey can be addressed as banks are closed and other solicitors / conveyancers / agents may be closed or less available.
