Credit report shows CC balance but paid off every month

Hello,
Don’t know if anyone could give me a little advice, I have an AMEX card that I spend on and pay off every month, I always go on and pay the full balance, just before my DD date and my balance will go to £0. I always pay it, however subsequently spend back on the card as that is how I use the card (Get all that Amex cash back).
Checking my credit report it always shows I have a balance on my card. Is there any method to the madness, it appears Amex is reporting just prior to me paying it off, every month.
Jamie

Don’t worry yourself.
Lenders get to see the raw data of your report - this includes the amount that you spend/pay per month - so they will be able to interpret that you pay off your balance in full every month, regardless how it is presented on the report that you see.

As long as you're paying the full balance after the statement is produced and before the "payment due" date, then this is absolutely correct, and is how all credit cards report to the CRAs. And is actually very good for your credit history - any future lender who looks at your report will see that you are using credit responsibly, borrowing within your means and always paying back on time. All big green ticks in the eyes of any lender

Credit cards report the debt as at the end of each month (usually). All correct.
Why make a manual payment if you a DD set up for the amount?0 -
