Engine management light ford focus mk3
Had my orange engine management light come on about 2 weeks ago right after putting fuel (diesel) in at Asda, don't know if it was contaminated or just a coincidence.
Anyway diagnostics show no faults and say everything normal and car drives fine, from what i have read it is just the ecu remembering there has been a fault and the light needs resetting.
Anyone know how to do this without going to a Ford dealer? I think you pull a fuse for a few minutes but don't know which one. Its a mk3 2016 ST diesel.

This happened to me in my old car. I filled up at Asda, couple of days later the engine light came on. Ran a diagnostic and came up with a catalytic converter fault. Took it to the garage for the mot and they said emissions were perfect.0

What diagnostics have you run? I have a ODBC2 plug in diagnostic tester bought on eBay that lets me reset the fault. If it comes on again it's worth getting a garage to put it through a proper diagnostic in case it's going to cost big money (something like EGR or DPF).0
