Lots of people have used Zopa savings - search the forum

They don’t have market leading rates now AFAIK
  • I really like the Zopa app and playing around with the boosted pots. They are not market leading at the moment but if you use the 95 day notice boosted pot cleverly you can get easyish access at currently 2.8% which isnt bad.

Zopa are great - I find the app is simple but works well and the way you can create 'boosted pots' without the hassle of having to create numerous new notice accounts with other banks is very convenient. Transfers to and from my current account take around 15 minutes.

Their rates were pretty competitive over the summer, but they've fallen behind in recent months so I've moved my money elsewhere. I've still kept the account though, in the hope that their rates will get a boost soon.
  • Yes I like ZOPA.  Their app is easy to use.  I like being able to have different pots and being able to boost them for different time periods.  Also what I like which I don't think any other bank does is once you have given notice and the notice period is complete ZOPA send you a text saying your  money is available.

The app is great but they have clearly given up on having good rates.
  • Another fan of Zopa here.  Keep hoping they increase their rates again 😿
Just my opinion, no offence 🐈

Zopa are great! Just a shame the rates are lagging a bit at the moment.

There's definitely a sense of "apart from that, Mrs Lincoln,..." building here!

  • They were great. Then they applied for and got a proper banking licence. Now they're just like any other bank.
