    I'm a long way off pension age, but I've been doing online grocery shopping for about 18 years now because I can't drive due to medical stuff. It's got a lot better (and cheaper!) than it was - and I'm glad the pandemic made more people try it out. I really do find it more convenient, even now that I live with my partner who would happily drive me to a supermarket. 

    Though I'm far too young to have experienced it, I know from TV shows like 1900 House that you used to give your list to the shopkeeper who'd either collect it up for you then and there or deliver it to you - so whilst being modern in that I'm sending Tesco my list electronically, it's also quite old fashioned!
