(Northern Ireland) Registered keeper disclosed me as the driver to DCBL. Have I lost?

Hi- new to the thread. I couldn't find anything on the Newbies thread regarding this situation in NI.
Basically, my mum is the registered keeper of the vehicle, and got a few PCN's from a private parking company.
I told her to ignore after reading up on here. However after receiving a Notice of Debt Recover letter from DCBL she freaked out and told them I was the driver.
Not sure what to do in this instance. Should I just pay the £170?

Were you the driver, or were you not the driver?

The keeper can never be held liable in NI, so they should never ever respond to a PPC or any of their agents.
They should however complain to the landowner and their NI MP about this unregulated industry.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -

If this was DCB Limited, then they are powerless debt collectors and can be ignored just like all debt collectors across the whole of the UK.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
NI is pretty much no-go territory for PPCs. Which one is pursuing you/your mum? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
