Winter fuel payments
Hi if anyone's received their winter fuel payment can they let me know if they don't mind the first letter beginning of their surname please. Just want to see how they are paying it out this year, only the last three years that i've received it I got it on the 23rd November but not this year. Thank you all

The payments have started to be paid out from last week I believe, there has been a bit of a delay this year due to all the other extra payments that have had to be made. There have been a few threads here and on the benefits board about people getting them come through a bit later than usual.
They are not paid based on names though, but your payment shouldn't be too much longer I would imagine. Have you had the letter through saying the amount due?0 -

Hi Hurrey ... Welcome to the forums.
You're not alone, I've not received mine yet either. Nov 12th last year, surname F, had the letter a month or two ago.

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
