EV Charging with Osprey
Just received my MercedesMe EV Charging bill for nearly £500 - Mercedes tell me this is all down to the utter incompetence of Osprey Charging and their failure to invoice customers in a timely manner.
Five months all in one go, what sort of shower are these people? Who manages this business?
What makes it worse is their Charging points do not provide receipts, so not easy to monitor how much has been accrued.
Is this incompetence the trigger for greater regulation of such companies?

Is the amount you have been asked to pay appropriate for the amount of charging you have done?Jethro22 said:Just received my MercedesMe EV Charging bill for nearly £500 - Mercedes tell me this is all down to the utter incompetence of Osprey Charging and their failure to invoice customers in a timely manner.

It might be better if you had been asked to pay in more frequent intervals, but you could also look at this that you had up to five months interest free credit.
How long do you now have to make the payment?1 -
Are you really just angry because you were hoping you had got away without paying? Did you ever try to chase up the missing bills in those 5 months.0

Very nice of Osprey to give their customers 5 months interest free credit. They must be a very cash rich company to be able to afford that.“Like a bunch of cod fishermen after all the cod’s been overfished, they don’t catch a lot of cod, but they keep on fishing in the same waters. That’s what’s happened to all these value investors. Maybe they should move to where the fish are.” Charlie Munger, vice chairman, Berkshire Hathaway0
