Recently got a new puppy to help me when I have to go out on my own as I have autism & anxiety. Can't work out which pet insurance to go with. What do people recommend? Thanks in advance

Pet Plan aren't the cheapest but are the best.
Always go for a lifetime policy as well, the cover available will renew each year and a condition spanning multiple years will continue to be covered (subject to the financial limits of policy)

Petplan are the Rolls Royce on pet insurance companies. There premiums are higher but they do not hike premiums if you make a claim. Most other companies do.
Vets normally are willing to claim direct from them as they dot have hidden exclusions.
Make sure you take out any insurance as soon as possible as there will be an exclusion period of 2 or 3 weeks before you can claim for any condition, apart from accident. Anything claimed before the insurance cover starts will be excluded from future claims.
Also, take out enough cover as vet fees do not come cheap. At least £7000 per year and more if you can afford it.
You might never claim on the insurance but it gives you peace of mind if a sudden, large bill occurs and you do not have access to a large sum of money.

PetPlan, hands down.If you want confirmation then I'd suggest asking your vets which insurance company they have the least problems with paying out, I can almost guarantee it'll be PetPlan. If you know anybody that's an existing customer ask them to 'refer a friend', your friend gets £20 of M&S vouchers and you get 2 months free insurance. You do have to set it up over the phone to benefit from this.
