RSA Building Insurance

RSA sent out a building insurance renewal notice with a contact telephone number. After trying to phone this number for 2 to 3 weeks I sent an email. I am still waiting. The renewal date is coming up. The quote has increased considerably and I need to discuss alternatives. I feel stuck with them due to a previous subsidence claim. How can an insurance company function without a working phone line?

There are a range of telephone numbers online for RSA, have you tried any of the others?
If you really mean its too busy, rather than not working, then its often easiest to get through by calling just before the line opens (by a minute or so depending on how long the recorded messages are etc)0 -

I had the same problem and the insurer I was with at the time were charging stupid money for buildings cover and due to the previous subsidence, I couldn't find another company willing to provide insurance.
I eventually switched to AXA as you don't have to tell them about previous subsidence claims provided that is was more then 10 years ago and my insurance premium dropped by over 90%.1
