Mould and damp after Thermal Lining Paper

If you have badly fitted windows, you are on a hiding to nothing. With a foam gun, I would have filled the gaps with expanding foam before plastering. If there are gaps visible from outside, apply expanding foam, cut back once set, then use mastic to seal it and fix some uPVC trim. If the windows are a recent install, get the fitters back to do a proper job.Always use a gun with expanding foam - It is much easier to put down a thin bead exactly where required, and the nozzle can get in the gaps. Where the nozzle is too big, nab the plastic nozzle from a cartridge of mastic and shove it on to the end of the foam gun.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
