ID verification issues due to phone not allowing access

Right so I'm trying to set up a Wise account online.  And they want photos of my id and my own good self as well.  My phone won't allow the site access so I can't use that and my pc camera doesn't provide enough definition.  So I'm a bit stuff.  When I try to use the phone I get a message saying "go into settings and set the phone to allow access" but I've no idea of how to do that as there's nothing obvious at all.  It's a moto g android.

I can take photos on the phone perfectly clearly but there's no way on Wise to get them uploaded.

If the picture is saved on the phone can't you transfer it to your computer?

no - it has to be a photo taken via the website so either directly from the phone or pc camera without being saved somewhere.

so does this mean that I would have to allow the camera to be used by any website even when the camera app isn't open?  Sorry if i'm sounding massively confused (as I am)

For location, camera and microphone permissions, you may be able to choose:

    • All the time (location only): The app can use the permission at any time, even when you’re not using the app.
    • Allow only while using the app: The app can use the permission only when you're using that app.
    • Ask every time: Every time you open the app, it'll ask you to use the permission. It can use the permission until you’ve finished with the app.
    • Don't allow: The app cannot use the setting, even when you’re using the app.

Wise app?  No I don't think so.  Wise website, perhaps.  How do I know?

Ah ok - so I'm going on to the Wise website, not the app as I don't install apps on my phone.  Certainly none to do with banking.  It's a security quirk of mine to restrict banking to my pc at home - harder to lose anything like you would if a phone popped out of one's pocket.  But I suppose if it did set it up on my phone, use it to get my id sorted and then deleted it that would be ok.
