Are there any accounts that offer a feature that could do rule based transfers or payments similar to:
Nothing too crazy, just a little more control over the date logic rather than just having once a month or a specific day.
Thanks
- Transfer £100 from account A to account B on the first Monday of each Month.
- Transfer £100 on the first weekday of each month.
- Transfer £50 every 4 weeks.

Barclays you can easily do the 2nd (just setting to 1st will achieve this) and 3rd bullet (they've a 28 day option)
The first bullet may be more tricky, they have a last Monday of the month option, but they do have a "Monthly - specified day" (note day not date) which may achieve it but its not 100% clear from the description.
The problem with 1 will be that Monday can be a bank holiday in which case it'll defer until the next working day0 -
Barclays specific day monthly can achieve the 1st option - I have one for 1st Wednesday of the month but that is a good point re bank holidays30+ years working in banking1

Thanks that list is helpful however, you're really going to need to help me with how on earth you select last working day of the month from HSBC. I've checked my app and full online banking and that option (and the last day of the month) definitely isn't in my dropdown. Would be very helpful but I've never seen any options like that from them. I agree Barclays are streets ahead in terms of offering proper flexible options - I was astounded at the list when setting up my recent account.0

If HSBC is anything like Barclays then the full list of possible schedules is not available within the app/online banking but it is available to branch staff - might be worth a visit30+ years working in banking0

I was deceived by this helpful video…
https://online.email.hsbc.co.uk/contactcentre/new-platform-create-a-standing-order.phpYou can't set those frequencies yourself, but you can contact HSBC using your preferred method, and they can do it for you.
