Ebay delivery

I sold a coat on Ebay. I purchased next day delivery from Ebay using Evri. Not only did it not arrive next day, it still hasn't been delivered almost 4 weeks on.
Evri is impossible to contact & Ebay says it only facilitated the delivery, I have to contact Evri.
IMHO, I paid Ebay, my contract is with Ebay but they say it is nothing to do with them.
I think this falls under a retailer (which Ebay is) fobbing the customer off? I would welcome opinions with ref to theConsumer Rights Act of 2015

eBay likely act as an agent (or you've purchase with Packlink or such) I'm not 100% sure as I've never purchased labels on eBay.
Have you filled in a claims with Evri for the missing parcel? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
As above. You need to persist with the bot but they will send an e-mail to the depot eventually. I had a customer contact me as a parcel was three weeks overdue. The bot sent an e-mail to the local depot and the parcel was delivered three days later.0

If you read all the t&c's it's not actually ebay you are buying from. You don't actually pay ebay either so they are correct in that you do not actually have any contract with ebay.
They just transfer the data (address etc) for you.
Evri are a living nightmare to contact.
Best thing is to Google for a current CEO email address for them and email that.
Or, work your way through the hundreds of options in the chat bot until you find one that actually let's you make contact.
If you can find a way to let them know which parcel number has gone missing then there is a decent chance it will get located and finally delivered.
If not they will send you a claim form and eventually pay you back.
I think my success rate is something like 90% of the parcels are delivered.
Maybe only 20% of those withing 2-3 days though.
Of the 10% that get "lost" 5% eventually turn up.
Of the 5% lost for ever I only get refunds for about half of them.
They are so bad that I don't send anything with them unless it's cheap and I have more of the same to send a replacement.

Thanks everyone - I believe the 2015 Act does not allow Ebay to drop it's responsibilities. I paid Ebay, therefore my contract is with Ebay - just because their T&C's say it's not, doesn't make that true.
EVRI is totally impossible to contact. As SE2020 says they are a living nightmare. I would normally never use them, really don't know why I did on this occasion...
I do note however, the tracking has been updated to show it is being queried.
And I have found names of directors and an address in Twickenham to contact Ebay UK directors.
I am tempted to file a small claims case, just to make a point...0
