Heated body warmer

Does anyone have any experience with an electric heated jacket/coat/body warmer?

They seem to vary in price by quite a bit.

I am - of course - looking for something of good quality but of good value for money.

Check out Regatta heated jackets, some are on sale at the moment.
I've had a some of the heated vests sold on Amazon which work fine until that is they don't. Most I got out of them was two winters. That said if you are just going to use them to stay warm in the house without any heavy hiking or work, then they should be OK.
I just wear an ordinary quilted Gillet under my coat on really cold days now and find it's just as toasty.

Bought one from Ebay £19 "7 heating areas" It had one on the back and didn't work. Got refund. Another from Ebay £31 "7 heating areas" Works 'OK' but had 3 heating areas. Good for indoor use, but if for outdoor source something £100+ known make/UK not chinese!

Thankyou for the replies. In view of what has been said I think I will buy one from the Regatta website. I can get a 6% cashback with Quidco.co.uk and a further (if discounts prove to be compatible) 12% discount on my first order.

Discounted from £125 to £62.45 (50% off in the winter sale). Postage is free for orders over £55. By my calculations the 12% discount would take the sale price to £54.96 so I would have to see if the free postage kicks in before the discount. If not I might consider buying the battery pack from them.

Blacks appear to be selling it for £115. If it is the same one.

Just spotted a £10 off on £65 purchase with Regatta. I can do that if I include a battery pack.
