in Cutting tax
I am employed and need to complete a self assessment tax return every year due to being a high earner. I just completed one this year and after adding my expense, pension, subscriptions and charitable donations info, I am owed money by HMRC. Can someone tell me when do they roughly pay this out?
And finally, I have been collecting my info over the year on a spreadsheet, but was wondering if there is any software available for me to do this? Most of the apps are geared towards ltd company and sole trader contractors but I am employed. Thanks in advance.

Usually about a week or so after you file your return.
Assuming you have actually claimed the refund when completing your return.0 -
This one says it copes with multiple sources of income, so presumably it can cope with your situation, but I don't know for sure. Personally I just use a spreadsheet. It's not difficult to create one that works out the correct tax liability.0
