If it gets resolved then you should be able to get overpaid child maintenance back from the dad. The only legitimate way I can think of for them to be claiming is maybe he's doing some kind of eligible course that can build towards his HNC in the long run? But who knows. Hopefully CB look at your stuff and clarify it all.
