PIP not in bank today

Hello. My wife gets PIP paid into bank every 4 weeks. No problem until today. The payment has not gone in. 

Tried to phone but only numbers for enquiries cut you off after few seconds

Can anyone offer help?

Just a quick update. I phoned again on the enquiry number and a recorded message now says there has been a problem with some payments of pip due today.  They will update the information after 11:30am

So it seems I am not the only one, and maybe a few more forum members are in the same position so I hope this information reassures everyone as it did me.

I had the same problem trying to get through to them.

Just rang the PIP number and they now saying to ring back at 2pm

We are ok as we have food in and have heating etc but probably very bad for those with no food and /or on a prepay meter for heating.

To be fair it's never happened before in my experience but that's no comfort to someone desperate for it I know
