Anyone else a bit disappointed with the Advents?

I was thinking this! Even to the point of considering opening an instagram account but have no idea where to start 😳

I came to say the same thing.

Especially, "One tag = one entry" on Instagram - unless it's something I REALLY want or need, I avoid them. I don't want to be a comp pest to my friends.

What is really annoying me about the instagram advents is that they are so random as to when the next day goes live. 

Not only is it different for different accounts but sometimes the same account puts up the new one at a different time each day. 

And in some cases they are doing gaps between days - yes I am looking at you intaflora

if you set up a group of virtual friends who tag you as much as you tag them its fine

Yeah I much prefer the website comps and it takes a lot longer to work through the Instagram ones; fatigue's setting in already and it's only the 6th!  A lot of regular advents also seem to be missing: Cheval Collection, Complete France, Confidentials Manchester, Fairtrade, Seabrook Crisps, Whistles...hoping some of them return after the 12th.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction regarding entering instagram comps? A thread maybe on who to tag etc? Complete novice but feel like it’s the way comps are going now, even on the main board I scroll past so many these days. Thank you 😊

Before the advents started I had a ban on following using my pc but could follow using the app on my phone. Today I have also been banned from commenting. I guess Instagram have done me a favour as I can now get my life back   

I much prefer the web ones as they are so much easier to get through.

Oh, how I miss the web "open the window" advents 

They were a big part of the run up to Christmas for me. But as  you say, some years, it felt like it took hours to enter them all.

At a time, when I had young children and not a lot of money, I managed to win some fantastic gifts for people.

If I see something I'd really like on Instagram, I will enter. I've some how managed to find a couple of people on there and we use each other to Tag. I've never met or spoke to them but I assume they're compers and we've managed to recognise a kindred spirit!

I've never won anything from there though!
