Item listed during offer, not paid, will offer apply to 2nd chance offer?

Listed an item during the last 80%offer.
Sold for over £50. 2 bidders.
Winning bidder still has not paid. The 5 days to cancel will be AFTER the current offer.
I am very keen to sell it this time and not wait till after Christmas.
Gut feeling that the winning buyer is not going to pay. He has not replied to my message as I am keen to post it asap before the strikes and before I go away for a break.
If I cancel on Tuesday, and offer it to the next person, will the 80%offer still apply?
Ideally I want to cancel today and relist it today as a lot of these are selling now.
Any suggestions?

Cancel and relist as second chance sales aren't eligible for the FVF offer.1

Could always take the chance and just relist it now while the FVF offer is still on - let them overlap a day or two before you cancel the former.......In the meantime if the initial buyer does pay you can remove the relisted item from eBay.....
Note though, if the relisted auction gets a bid in the meantime and you have to end the listing, you may be charged another FVF regardless (due to ending early with a bid active)......0 -

soolin said:I'd never let a non payer off getting a strike, also just cancelling the sale leaves a seller open to poor feedback. Best to wait until just after day 4 and cancel properly using buyer didn't pay as reason.
Agree with this - I have immediate payment enabled with BIN listings, I've had too many people mess up listings by sending an offer, which I accept, and then realise they do not want it after I've accepted. Maybe they didn't think I would accept? But then why place the offer in the first place?!
Anyways they then request a cancellation straight away. In the past I have done, but I think I'm going to follow Soolin's advice now, Let the 4 days time out and then mark it as a non-payer.
On a side note, I also now counter all offers. Even if the offer is acceptable, I may just add on £1 to the offer, for instance, and send the counteroffer. That way the buyer has the chance to think twice about whether to proceed before they actually do so!0 -

A sale can be cancelled as soon as 4 days has elapsed, so if a sale was say Sunday at 8pm then it can be cancelled on Thursday as soon as 8pm has passed.Mine were all automatically switched to cancel automatically, so exactly as the clock ticks over after 4 days the sale is cancelled, buyer gets a strike and I get my FVFs refunded.https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/payment-policies/unpaid-item-policy?id=4271&st=3&pos=2&query=Unpaid%20item%20policy&intent=SellerCancel%20sale%20for%20non%20payment&context=unavailable&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1285
Managing unpaid orders
