The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in an executive suite at Seaham Hall – The Sunday Times’s northern hotel of the year. The five-star property occupies the seaside mansion in which Lord Byron was married in 1815, and has deepened its appeal with the addition of the 44,000sq foot Serenity Spa.
Outside, the long, sandy beaches of Durham’s heritage coast await, while inside there’s a vibrant sense of style: think sumptuous fabrics, super-king beds and colourful headboards. Meanwhile, Damian Broom’s seasonal, inventive cooking in the Dining Room is a treat.
One tasting menu dinner for two (served Wednesdays-Saturdays) is included in the prize, as is a second dinner for two at the pan-Asian Ozone restaurant (both excluding drinks).
The prize also includes a 60-minute Top to Toe Ritual for both winner and guest. It must be taken between January 2 and April 30, 2023, subject to availability and excluding February 10-14 and April 7-10.
