I don’t know if this is the correct place to post but need a little advice. I am locked out of Facebook because of someone trying to use my page. Now Facebook want my id. Is it safe to send a copy of something like a driving licence. I am always worried about things like this getting into the wrong hands especially by sending it on the internet. Has anyone else done this? Thanks

If you're sure that the place you're sending it is Facebook, it's not getting into the wrong hands.
And yes, it is commonplace to send copies of your ID to people who need to see it.1
