Morning crew x
Very achey today and a lovely shade of purple with all the bruises! TA your spot on another feet up day and a regular diet of pain killers.
Did manage to make a carrot and lentil soup by just chucking it all in the slow cooker. Missed out the step of frying off the onions and celery so not sure how that will work but it was the best I could do. I have some ham slices in the freezer so will add that in a bit. No other plans so I can sit on the couch having a wild pity party!
Coxy sorry to hear about your neighbour very sad for her family
Nanny glad dad is having a good time.
Izzy congrats to DGD so much talent on this thread
Scarlet enjoy a wrapping day if that's possible!
Have good sloth day all x12 -
Morning all [just!] I have a bit of a hangover so I'm afraid that's my excuse for today...Yesterday went well, I made the wood thing, stained and waxed it, used my kregg jig to join the wood so you cant see the joins, the friend came round to lay the vinyl, did an absolute sterling job, it really makes such a difference, it almost looks like a proper room now, he took the vinyl records in exchange, I bought some syrup and it was sitting on the chair waiting to be put away, broken bottle, syrup all over the chair so that has to go to the tip, so I booked a tip run for today which is at two [time to come round and then go for dinner I think] . It's right in the crease at the back and it's absolutely soaked in it, no way to clean it without taking it apart and reupholstering...I didn't like the chair much though so it's not terrible...And then we went out to a pub followed by a nightclub where we met a friend of OHs and where we danced [ I danced once, nearly died from being out of breath, so left OH to it] , came home silly silly silly late and got up at eleven
. Todat, tip, tidy and admire the bathroom floor...
snoozer, what a bunch of the word we do not use[s]....But lovely to have a record of the familyCoxy, how shocking, it's never a good time of year to go but some times are worse than others. And yeah, emailing the CEO usually gets results, let's hope they can sort you out...in thhe nicest way obviously.. Izzy, like GD, like granny really isn't it that she doesn't stop?
Nels, after a thump like that you're allowed a little pity party..but you'll have to celebrate with soup instead...it'll be fine, Hope you all enjoy your wrapping, put some Christmas music on, sip some sherry, it'll be done in no time
or not done in time or something... Take care all...

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
Troll the ancient Yule tide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
See the blazing Yule before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Strike the harp and join the chorus.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Follow me in merry measure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
While I tell of Yule tide treasure,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
