With two energy suppliers?

Hi,
This might be quite straight forward but I’m unsure. I moved house recently, the supplier was Bulb so I completed their form to say I now live at the address.

I tell e-on next I’m moving out of my old address by completing a form on their site and they ask do I want to switch. I do as I have a good fixed deal with them! At first the switch was rejected as I didn’t have an account with bulb but once I set that up the message disappeared. When I log on to e-on next it has the new address on my account.
Bulb are saying they still supply. Is this just because the switch is going through (been almost 3 weeks) or has something gone wrong?
thanks

Three weeks is longer than a switch usually takes currently - what do Eon have to say? Have you had any progress emails from them relating to them taking the supply?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Possibly something has gone wrong.
Check on this link to see which supplier is listed on the National Database for your property:

If Bulb is still listed as the supplier, then you need to contact E.oN Next.2 -
Takes quite a while to set up a new customer account, and Bulb are unlikely to be the quickest in their current state. They have then got to release the account for the switch to happen.
Best bet is to check who is actually listed as your supplier, is by going thru your regional distribution company eg in my part of the world, Western Power.1 -
Thank you. I will contact both suppliers and find out what is going on!0

FYI - it is still with bulb when I check0

You should gbe given a date the switch will happen. On that day you want to take a meter reading.0

I chased it up today and the switch has been ‘re processed’ and I’ve had an email saying sorry you are leaving. No idea what went wrong!2
