Auto renewal issues

GoPro auto renewal issue
I cancelled my subscription with them between 16/11/2021 and 28/12/2021 , via the website, it did not state I would get confirmation of this, so I didn’t look out for one.
16/11/2022 they debited £49.99 from my credit card. Without any reminders sent to me.
I contacted go pro direct on 28/11and basically they don’t give a cooling off period and the website gives my renewal date ( even though I am sure I cancelled so haven’t been in the website for12 months) so they won’t refund.
I have raised a charge back, is there anything else I can do?
There are numerous complaints about this company and this practice, I feel it may be worth a section on your program

    What evidence do you have that you cancelled it?

    I wouldnt be thinking its ok that I didnt get confirmation of cancellation because they didnt say they'd send one... I'd be demanding it if I didnt receive it.

    Companies intentionally make it difficult to cancel, some after you say you cancel then want you to press another cancel button for a 2nd/3rd/10th time because they're offering you a discount to stay or such and it can be easy to miss. Hence wanting written confirmation or at least a screenshot (far 2nd choice)

    The chargeback will probably fail, the merchant will state you didnt cancel. 

    Priority has to be to ensure you've cancelled it properly this time and have proof its cancelled.

    Is it an annual  subscription due on 16/11?
