Hi, would I be able to end a listing and use the relist facility and still utilise the 80% discount or would I have to start a completely new listing? thanks for any advice.

You can but you have to be careful about how you relist.
I usually opt for "sell similar" from the old listing which works well. Copies everything over and counts as a new listing when live.

ok thanks, I'll do that, I had an idea it wouldn't be straightforward.

For information, I've relisted using the above suggestion and it does change some details, on mine, it was the duration of the auction and the material, just something to keep an eye on if you do this

In my experience as long as its a manual relist then it works, but if it auto-relists then it doesn't.
You can check the little counter thing that shows how many FVF discounts you have left to double check it.1 -
^^^ good idea, I have checked and it has indeed worked, thanks all.0

I relist every time the 80% offer comes round - no issues at all.1

No you can’t unless the FVF offer is still on . Only listings listed during the event are eligible, so if you list something whilst there is an offer in but cancel and relist say next Tuesday then the new listing wouldn’t qualify, however if you re listed this weekend then yes it would qualify (assuming you have listings available).serena9 said:Hi, would I be able to end a listing and use the relist facility and still utilise the 80% discount or would I have to start a completely new listing? thanks for any advice.
If you mean that you want to just end all your current listings and relist then yes that’s also fine , I’ve just done it myself. There’s no need to use ‘sell similar’ you can just relist.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes, I can confirm that simply relisting and also sell similar have been taken from the discount allowance so both work, I don't sell much so this makes no difference to me but if you do then choose one way or the other, thanks everyone for the advice.0

... with the added benefit that if you end all your listings and then re-list, you get another 'n' entries into the £500 draw.soolin said:
