New roof & Damp patches

I had a new roof fitted the first 2 weeks of October 2022
A previous occupant had removed one of the external chimney stacks and i had the roofer remove the second external chimney stack at the same time as the re-roofing. A builder who works with the roofer removed the two internal chimney stacks from the bedrooms, re-boarded and plastered the holes. (The bedrooms are in the loft space apart from a small section at the peak of the roof)
In November when it started to rain i noticed damp patches form near the areas where the internal chimney stacks were, i contacted the roofer who sent one of his workers who told me to use barrier paint. Nearly 4 weeks have passed and Ive had no reply to my phone calls, text messages or emails asking the roofer to come back and fit the problem.
Does anyone have any advice on how to escalate the problem of getting my roof fixed?

Are you sure the damp is from the roof rather than the wall? If I am understanding what you have done, the old back wall of the chimney is now the wall of the room, suitably plastered over, and this is now showing signs of damp?
In addition to the roof not being properly rebuilt (unlikely if you used a decent roofer), there is the chance that the old external wall of the chimney was not completely water-tight and needs repointing. Alternatively, the build up of tars and salts inside the chimney from years of coal fires can leave a hygroscopic coating which absorbs moisture from the air, showing as a damp patch on the plaster.0 -
I live in a mid terrace, The external and internal chimney stack was removed and the hole in the ceiling was re plaster boarded and plastered. The damp patch is well away from the wall in one room but along the edge of where the stack was in another. The bedrooms are in the loft space but the ceiling levels off near the top creating a small triangle between the roof and ceiling.0
