Morning all.
I am starting to feel back to my usual self again although I have a hacking cough and feel worn out all the time but I'm out of bed so it's time for me to try and get operation mortgage mountain back on track.
My heart feels like we are making next to no progress although my head is trying to be the voice of reason and let me know that we are getting there - just a lot slower than I would like
It's payday from Burger King today so I will transfer all that money straight into the savings account so at least that will boost the balance by a small amount but every penny counts right.
Other than that I will make a list but I'm not going to beat myself up too much if I don't achieve it all today - I need to listen to what my body says and rest if I need too (I don't want to be laid up for longer than I have too as it is losing me wages I wanted to put towards the mountain)
So here's my maybe list for today:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 44 points so far today
- Transfer Burger King earnings into OP savings pot - DONE £269.18 added
- Redeem Mistplay Amazon voucher and add to account (and transfer £10 over to savings) - DONE
- Raise 5 claims with Royal Mail for lost orders - DONE hopefully will receive £96 back from them
- Send proof to returning Etsy customer for plantable business cards - DONE
- Reply to enquiry on Etsy for stickers and tags - DONE
- Look for craft lot I advertised on FB (hoping hubby has not struck again as could be £35 sale) - DONE found it and should be being collected about 5pm today
Collected so £35 will be added to the OP savings account when I pay the money in on Sunday
- Cash in £2 winning scratchcard which mum and dad bought me to cheer me up whilst I was ill - will do tomorrow as did not go out today so will go when I next pass to save petrol
- Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders
- Advertise in three FB groups to hopefully drum up more orders
- Write some social media posts to promote my business - posts written for month - now just to schedule them
- Finish colour cube type idea and list on Etsy - didn't finish this idea but did design a prayer token for holy communion gifts using items in my stash and will list tomorrow
- Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete Prime Opinion survey - DONE 4 surveys taken for a total of 179 points. Also reached enough to cash out £10 in paypal account
- Get two loads of washing dry outside while the sun is shining - first load on line and drying well, second load about to be hung out and small bonus third load ready to go in when second load finished
- DONE three loads washed and dried outside
- No heating on - DONE
- Find two more ways to add money into savings
- Take a course from a paid membership
- Send an email to my subscribers about my £10 offer
- Research Etsy gift mode and tweak listings to see if this will give me extra exposure
- Look at SEO report from website and make small improvement
- Finish tidying craft room
- Action one thing on my business growth list
- Create a cardmaking download to sell on Craftsuprint
- Draft letter in reply to Council who are claiming pothole damage is not their liability
- NSD - DONE
That will certainly keep me busy for the dayMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 - Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 44 points so far today

Good morning.
The sun is shining here on the Broads this morning so my bedding is in the washing machine ready to hang out on the line later to dry beautifully
I was very good yesterday (on Nurse Flowers orders) and stopped as soon as I started feeling tired and it has obviously done some good as I feel much better today. Strangely I have a taste of salt water in my mouth constantly which is not very nice so I'm guessing that is side effect of Covid and that it will eventually do one and bug**r off
I've got a 4 hour shift at the cafe today (it was meant to be 7.5 hours but it got cut as they still don't have the visitors). In fact I was actually meant to be doing 14 hours there this week but all but the shift today got cancelled so I am getting a little worried that I may have made the wrong choice with which jobs I kept. That said I still have my 5 hours at Burger King each week on a Monday if I want them so I'm really glad I didn't cut ties altogether. I'm not working at the chippy tonight as I didn't want to overdo it on my first day back at work but normal service resumes there from next week.
Other than that not much planned - hubby has day off so I'm hoping I will come home from work tonight to him cooking a lovely dinner for us - only time will tell
The lady collected the craft supplies yesterday so that will add another £35 into the pot and I hope to try and list a few more bits today to try and get rid of those from the house in my declutter mission.
So here's my list for today:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 2 points so far

- Advertise in three FB groups to hopefully drum up more orders
- Schedule social media posts for month
- List Holy Communion prayer tokens and Plantable heart wedding favours on Etsy
- Finish colour cube type idea
- Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji
- Complete Prime Opinion survey - DONE 4 surveys completed for a total of 54 points
- Check to see if Prime Opinion reward paid into paypal account - DONE £10 added into the OP savings account

Work was not too bad - it was actually nice getting out the house for a bit and earning money again. It did tire me out a little bit but I'm feeling ok today again so fingers crossed I'm on the mend.
I promise I will pace myself again today though xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021
