Good morning everyone.
I feel like I still did not achieve much yesterday but I also think I am being quite hard on myself as I did manage to get five orders despatched off so that has to count for something doesn't it. It's hubby's last day off today for a while now so I'm hoping we will do something nice together given that it is only a few months now before he starts working away. I doubt he will want to though as he seems to have spent most of these last few days asleep
Apparently I am working on Saturday in Burger King but still not received the rotas to know what times (I'm hoping it won't be until 1am as I don't think my old body would be able to cope with that!) so fingers crossed the rota will come out soon so I can organise someone to collect son from work if needed. I've also got cafe shifts tomorrow and Sunday so that will be a little extra money going into the pot when I finally see my wages!
So today I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 39 points so far today
- Pay in £14.60 cheque on banking app from Royal Mail for lost parcel - DONE will add into savings pot when cleared
- Cut business cards for FB order and post off along with stickers and thank you cards made yesterday - DONE
- Raise custom order for repeat customer on Etsy - DONE and lady has paid (£53)
- Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders- commented on one so far
- Update spreadsheets for February with new mortgage amounts
- Schedule social media posts for March
- Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete Prime Opinion survey
- No heating on until at least 5pm
- Find two more ways to add money into savings
- Increase prices in my small business (I was only making 2p on a couple of things) - DONE I've put some things up by £1.50 - lets hope I still get some sales
- Tidy craft room
- Tidy conservatory
- Make something new to list in my Etsy shop
- List something on FB Marketplace
- Complete two courses from my memberships
- Photograph receipes from cookbook from library so it can be returned
- Pick up a couple of chickens from Sainsburys as half the price of Lidl at the moment with a Nectar card - sadly none left but did use Lidl card to get chickens and managed to get a french stick and a pack of cookies free using the app

I hope you and hubby can do something nice today.
If it was me choosing between the 2 jobs the fact that Burger King has yet to let you know the rota for Saturday would count against them as how are you supposed to arrange the rest of your time effectively.
Five orders definitely counts for as a lot.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

He ended up wanting a haircut so we both went into town and enjoyed chips from the market and then helped our neighbour clear her drains - we are so rock n roll
Not knowing the hours for Saturday still is certainly swaying me in the direction of the coffee shop - plus just the thought of the 1pm finishes is enough to put me off I reckon so it's looking more like I will choose the cafe every day. the only problem is next week I only have 6 hours spread over 3 days so it may not be enough hours to actually make much difference to our mortgage mountain. That is the only thing stopping me choosingMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -
1 am finishes are not something I would consider these days - I need my sleep too much.
In the short term would you be able to continue with both jobs?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I'm hoping that I can continue with both for as long as I can and so far so good. Not sure how long it will last though as we are now approaching the busy season where both will want more hours worked I think. I can only see and do what I can do before making a decision.Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -
Not much of a list from me today and a late post as I have been at the cafe from 10am -4pm so that has taken most of my day up. On the plus side I did bring home two cheese and ham sandwiches which have been popped in the air fryer and eaten by my son and I as a little snack as I did'nt have any lunch and hubby has 5 slices of yummy thick cut ham for his sandwiches tomorrow so a nice little result as well as earning my wages today
Another bomus is that I have had my hours come through for Burger King for tomorrow and next week and they don't clash with the cafe ob so I can do both which will hopefully help me decide one to go for if I do have to choose. I'm hoping to be able to do both for as long as I can as that will allow me to add as much to the OP savings pot as I possibly can
So today I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 143 points today thanks to a 50 point new game bonus
- Check to see if £14.60 cheque has cleared - DONRE and transferred into OP saings account
- NSD - DONE
- Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders - DONE commented on one post
- Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji
- No heating on until at least 7pm - DONE
- Make something new to list in my Etsy shop - DONE made some Easter planting kits and plantable pencils

Good morning.
I had my second shift at Burger King yesterday and it was horrendous. the boss was not great and just expected me to know everything (even things I have not really been shown) and I was constantly told how slow I was and bad compared to the others. Plus I burnt my hand so I'm going to try one more shift tomorrow but I think it has helped me make up my mind that the cafe job is better for me
I'm at the cafe again today supposedly for a 5 and a half hour shift but the rain is bucketing down here on the Broads today so I have a feeling my hours may be cut which to be honest with I'm ok with as I feel absolutely worn out this morning. I shall have to wait and see and even if they don't get cut I'm hoping it will be quite an easy day so keep your fingers crossed for me.
I'm not going to put much on my list today but hope to get a few things done so So today I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 52 points so far
- NSD - DONE
- Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders - DONE commented on one

- Relax and destress

Oh my life has got busy these last few days but I'm back again now and I have a day of from going out to work (although I do have orders for my own business I need to get sorted)
I had another shift at Burger King yesterday and I really enjoyed it so now I'm back to square one and have no clue what I am going to do. I think I will keep them ticking along together for as long as I can so I can get as much money as I can to throw at the mortgages whilst the hours are on offer.
Hubby is just starting six days off so I'm not sure how productive I am going to be but our 3 year old puppy dog is booked in for her keyhole neutering operation today so I need to keep busy to take my mind off this as I know my anxiety is already through the roofIt is also going to be just over £800 so I don't think that there will be much money left over this month but in the long run it really is an investment as, as lovely as she is, I really do not want her to have puppies and and we have lots of randy whole male dogs in our village it seems!!!!
We have just found out that our daughter will not be coming home for Easter after all as she has managed to get herself a holiday job at a holiday club for kids and is getting paid £20 per hours so I very happy for her and it means hopefully we can give our camper van a little run down to Derby for a few nights away so we can see her. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about seeing our daughter or sleeping in the camper - is that wrongI'm also very jealous about her £20 per hour wage - if only I could earn that then I'd have these mortgages paid off in no time
Right I better get on with my list as it's a long one today to help me stay busy and not think too much about what's happening to puppy dog today.
So today I WILL:-- Play on Mistplay (126 points target) - 62 points so far today
- Raise a claim with Royal Mail for lost letter - DONE claim submitted for £14.60
- Raise a claim with Council for replacement tyres caused by hitting a pot hole they knew about - DONE hopefully we will be reimbursed £103.80 but knowing the council I will not hold my breath
- Send proofs to customer for leaflet and business cards - DONE
- Print stickers for return customer on Etsy and post off - printed will post off later today
- Make Lucky pants for Etsy order - DONE will post off later today
- Comment on In search of posts to hopefully get a few more orders - commented on two so far today
- Update spreadsheets for February with new mortgage amounts
- Schedule social media posts for March
- Check free postcode lottery, winadinner and freeemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete Prime Opinion survey
- No heating on until at least 7pm
- Find two more ways to add money into savings
- Tidy craft room
- Tidy conservatory
- Make something new to list in my Etsy shop
- List something on FB Marketplace
- Complete two courses from my memberships
- Photograph receipes from cookbook from library so it can be returned
- Meal plan for week - DONE only need a couple of things from supermarket as well

That is great news about your daughter getting a holiday job, especially the rate of pay.
Have fun planning your first trip away in you camper van.
I hope all goes well with the dog's operation and recovery.
What plans do you and hubby have for his time off?

I cannot wait to plan the camper van trip and I'm so excited to use it for the first time.
Sadly the doggo could not have her operation again as she is still producing milk from her phantom pregnancy. We have had to give in and get some medication to hopefully dry it up. It better as it was £173!!!! Plus the vet wanted to charge us for the 30 seconds it took him to see if she was still producing milk! I refused to pay that as she is booked in again in 12 days time and the operation costs nearly £800!!!
No plans for his time off - he is currently asleep on the sofa and if I'm honest that will probably be how he spends the whole 6 daysMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.022
