Aldermore Customer services

Ive been waiting for customers services to answer my call for over an hour now. Is this normal for them? Im a new customer

    It seems to be normal for many savings account providers at the moment.
    They seem to be swamped with work as many people are changing providers/transferring accounts, due to the significant uplift in interest rates.
    On the other side there are staff shortages.
  • I emailed them over a week ago and haven't heard back. I've given up and gone elsewhere.

    To be fair there is usually no need to speak to anyone,  like many of the small providers Aldermore's systems are all automated and just work without the need for any interaction.
  • I have had to wait two weeks to get a reply to a secure message - just to be told that my posted verification of change of nominated account will be processed in a few days!

    Reason - busy with new accounts, etc.
