EDF and DD energy rebates

I haven’t received my £66 rebate this month so checked my energy account. My DD was paid on the 21st and the £66 rebate was credited to my energy account on same day but no refund has been listed or paid.
Last month I received it by the 25th.

I phoned EDF and seemingly they have had a large number of calls with the same issue. I was told leave it a couple of weeks and call back if not sorted out 🙄

Anyway, in case anyone is in the same not refunded boat, you are not alone.

This is the same for our account - thanks for the post. Compared to other suppliers they are later in making payments.

It depends on when you pay your direct debit as to when you get your refund. It’s usually within a few days, I paid mine 24 November & the £66 was back in my account today. Obviously there is an issue with some of the refunds this month. Saying that, I would prefer if they just kept mine & added it to my credit so I wouldn’t worry so much about putting the heating on

Just an update.
I just checked account and it’s now listed a refund dated today and I should receive into my bank account within 5 days. 

Not sure if it’s because I phoned them or they have sorted whatever problem they had…worth checking accounts and phoning if not pending a refund.
